Pirate Seniors Share the Joy of Reading at Antilles Elementary
Pirate Seniors from Ms. Ferrer’s ELA 12 class visited Antilles Elementary School on March 4 to participate in the Read Across America celebration, reading to younger students and serving as positive role models. The experience was a joyful and meaningful full-circle moment for many seniors, highlighting the power of reading, mentorship, and connection within our school community.

Music in Our Schools Month
DoDEA joins the National Association for Music Education and schools across the nation in celebrating Music in Our Schools Month (MIOSM) in March. The purpose of recognizing MIOSM in DoDEA is to highlight and advocate for music programs in our schools.
National Reading Month
DoDEA joins the National Education Association and schools across the nation in celebrating Read Across America on March 2nd and all year long to help motivate kids to read, bring the joys of reading to students of all ages, and make all children feel valued and welcome.
